Deleting your account
You can delete your Supplies on Site account at any time, and you do not need to contact us to do it.
In the app: open My Account, scroll to More, and tap Delete my account. You will be shown what deletion does and asked to confirm.
Without the app: if you have already uninstalled the app, or you would rather we did it for you, email support@suppliesonsite.com.au from the address on your account. We will verify that the request came from you and action it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What deleting your account does
Your account is closed immediately and permanently. You are signed out on every device, and you will not be able to sign in again using that email address. You lose access to your saved delivery addresses, saved payment methods, favourites and order history through the app.
What we keep, and why
We keep a record of the orders you have placed, together with the invoices, payments and delivery records attached to them. Australian taxation law requires businesses to keep records of their transactions for five years, so we cannot delete these when you close your account. They are retained for that purpose only, are not used to market to you, and are deleted once the retention period ends.
Your wallet balance
Any credit remaining in your Supplies on Site wallet is forfeited when your account is closed. It cannot be recovered or refunded afterwards. If you have a balance you want to use or have refunded, do that before you delete your account, or contact us first.
Having your personal details erased
If you want your personal information erased rather than only your account closed, email support@suppliesonsite.com.au and ask for erasure. We will remove everything we are not legally required to keep – including your name, contact details, saved addresses and saved payment methods – and confirm to you in writing when it is done. Where a record must be kept for the five year period described above, we remove the personal details from it wherever doing so still leaves a valid transaction record.
