OUR HISTORY

2020 – The Spark of an Idea

James Louden, co-founder of Supplies On Site, saw firsthand how productivity on construction sites was taking a hit. Too often, he and his team had to stop work, drop tools, and chase down materials that were forgotten, ordered short, or simply unavailable. He knew there had to be a better way—a smarter way to keep job sites running smoothly. And so, the idea for Supplies On Site was born: a seamless platform to streamline material sourcing and delivery.

2021 – Turning an Idea into a Plan

Determined to bring this vision to life, James partnered with a consulting firm to lay the groundwork for the Supplies On Site app. The journey from concept to reality had officially begun.

2022 – A Stronger Team, a Bigger Vision

James teamed up with Frank Pitropakis, bringing together their expertise and drive to transform the industry. They refined the concept, built their first pitch deck, and set out to secure their first round of pre-seed funding—taking a crucial step toward making their vision a reality.

2023 – Strategy, Growth, and Building Momentum

With their first successful funding round under their belt, James and Frank got to work on a go-to-market strategy and roadmap. They crystallized their vision and mission, leading to the development of the first interactive prototype. This prototype showcased the game-changing potential of Supplies On Site—demonstrating how it would revolutionize the way construction professionals source and receive materials.

Armed with a clear plan, a compelling prototype, and growing industry interest, they launched the next phase: a seed funding round. The response was phenomenal. With new capital secured, the team moved forward with the next critical step—building the beta version of the app.

2024 – From Beta to Market-Ready

The beta version of Supplies On Site came to life, marking a major milestone in the journey. With momentum growing, James and Frank built a powerhouse leadership team to take SOS to the next level:

Together, they launched the beta, validated the proof of concept, and nurtured key relationships with suppliers, drivers, and users. By the end of 2024, the full MVP (Minimum Viable Product) build was officially underway—bringing Supplies On Site one step closer to transforming the construction industry for good.
